Celeb Styles Hit Or Miss?

 

We all see the celebs on the red carpets and think how do they do it? And lots of us aspire to be just like them, but which celeb would you want to dress like? They don’t all get it right you know, take 'Katy Perry she usually does gets it right but she was recently seen promoting her film - Part of Me – in a mustard yellow dress I don’t think this colour is very flattering for Katy, but it’s the cut out bits at the front of the dress showing a bit too much of her modesty in my opinion that really makes that outfit a miss for me. Then there is Rita Ora even with her killer figure I think she got it wrong recently as well, wearing a long silky white skirt, which only she can get away with, but it was what she teamed it with that didn’t work for me, a sort of vest top that was extremely short and resembled something you would be more at home in doing your exercising , and then it looked like she had thrown a (very nice I might add) pink leather jacket over the top, it just didn’t fit go together somehow for me,  so another miss.

So I won’t be following their style examples, but 'Rachel Bilson looked stunning in a sexy and cute monochrome outfit. The black fitted trousers had the perfect waist and the cream sleeveless blouse with black edging on the breast pockets and a black loose tie at the neck, pulled it all together making it simple but stylish, so definitely at hit. One person who always seems to get it right is of course is The Duchess of Cambridge and I think this is one of her best outfits a stunning, simple and sexy dress, pale lilac pastel colour it is nipped in at the waist and the off centre v neck line with delicate pleat effect shouts elegant and again draws the eye to her slender waist, so I think the conclusion is that simple is best.

 Have you seen all these gold post boxes popping up all over Britain? We’ve even got one in our town of leek due to our local girl Anna Watkins winning a gold medal in her rowing event, well done Anna. And while watching all our GB team stack up the medals at the Olympics this weekend, I spotted another of our past Olympic stars Denise Lewis in our very own juicy red sandwich blouse and necklace and she looked stunning so here at bamboo fashion we are very proud of these facts and it just goes to show we can dress like the celebs and get it right we just need to follow the right people and has Denise as shown she has certainly got style.
