Is Your Body Ready For Summer?

I know it doesn’t look like it but Summer is on it’s way, fingers crossed anyway, and with that comes the dreaded swimsuit season, and summer dresses so I thought if i want to look like Vanessa Hudgens in her little pastel dress and be ready for the sunshine I’d better get my skates on. Where do I start? then I saw the TV advert you know the one with the girls doing exercise on the settee ‘1, 2 , 3 and corrie’ but alas I can’t get away with that, so I had a look at how the stars do it and Since celebrities are lucky enough to have personal trainers to be in great shape all of the time, we can turn to them for our diet and exercise strategies. So here goes;
Kate Hudson's trainer, Ashley Conrad, suggests banning all highly processed foods and eating every three hours. Grant Roberts, who works with such stars as, Hilary Swank, and Clint Eastwood suggests that a healthy diet is the way to go: "Seventy percent of bikini friendly results will be found through optimum nutrition. But the other thirty percent includes a workout program that includes weights, cardio, stretching, and lifestyle management." Whew I’m tired already!
Mind you Jessica Biel's go-to workout guy Jason Walsh says that working out for more than an hour is a "waste of time." great news no need to spend hours in a gym! He also suggests eating small meals, 5 – 6 times throughout the day, this will keep your metabolism efficient, and will prevent you from going on unhealthy binges, then Twice a week, so that you don’t feel deprived allow yourself treats (at last ). Without the little treats every 3-4 days ( not daily then) you are likely to go overboard and indulge too much, think I might risk that one so what will it be chocolate? Wine? Chocolate? Wine? decisions decisions!
Another great celebrity keep fit secret, well not really a secret at all, is being active , We always see them outside on hikes, surfing, paddle-boarding, walking their dogs, and biking. So I thought I know a good activity, yes you’ve guessed it ‘SHOPPING’.
Let's face it -shopping may not get you toned abs, but it does burn a few hundred calories and what fun. So get off of the couch and get moving!
